Welcome.
Writing a summary which coherantly explains the nature and point of
this blog is beyond my abilities, for I do not possess superhuman
clairvoyance, and right now, I cannot say what will come out of this
project. Hopefully, the blog will develop organically and evolve into something which is more defined.
But I will do my best to explain the purpose of this blog, as of right now.
I believe that, in some cases, the internet is ruining the value of art. This is a result of perpetual swallow-and-regurgitate trend that is distinctive to the logocentric mindset of nowadays. The internet serves to exasperate this issues by virtue of its efficiency, which plays on innate human laziness and narcissism. Images and words are regurgitated by bloggers with the intention of feeding it to viewers, who are encouraged by the utilized medium to continue the trend.
We want to make something that shatters the integrity of the reader as well as the blog itself by making the reader's relationship to content and understanding in question and in process. This blog is interested in the origins of art and lit and the act of them as creations by way of a work of LOSS and not GAIN.
We are not going to post anything with total disregard for its origin. We are interested why it exists in the first place. We are not interested in exploitation.
All I can say is that we are striving to make something of a meditative art and literature blog. Something that is: not themed, unrefined, utterly devastating, and open to all kinds of submissions.
